Where to Drink in Downtown Charleston
Charleston is a drinking town, no doubt about it. Check out these places to quench your thirst when you are on the Peninsula!
Bin 152 (My favorite place in the world. amazing wine, great cheese and chaccuterie selection.)
Citrus Club (for my bougie girls who want the best rooftop experience and don’t mind spending little cash)
Henry’s on Market (great rooftop, and great music!)
Vintage Lounge (great wine bar!)
Gin Joint (I love their patio!)
Church & Union (the have a massive bar and every option you can imagine!)
Prohibition (great pre-dinner drinks but also a great night out!)
Uptown Social (if you want to reminisce on your college days)
Ritual Rooftop Bar one of the best views day or night downtown!
Juanita Greenbergs (is it a shit hole? yes. are the margs strong? yes. sit on the back patio for the coolest spot on King St.)
Felix (Paris in Charleston? You bet.)
The Darling Oyster Bar (Oysters…. oysters…. oysters.)
Tobin’s Market (very tucked away, outdoor bar that has great small eats and always has a fun theme or live music happening!)
Quinte Oyster Bar the ambiance is unlike any other! Go here for great drinks and of course oysters.
Charleston’s Smallest Bar, tucked away in a hidden alley you’ll find as the name calls it, the smallest bar in Charleston.
Brewery District where you can hop on the trolly and check out all of the craft beer downtown!
Bar Rollins - serving wonderful natural wine, this is a must visit before or after dinner!
Bumpa’s an irish pub that does fish & chips like no other!
Carmella’s Dessert Bar I will never not reccomend this place. Their drinks are top knotch!
Uncorked Wine Bar Self serve wine? Say no more!
Meeting Street Pavilion Rooftop Bar I’ll be honest, not the best service but one of the best views in the city!
Happy drinking ya’ll!
