Paint it Black
Every girl dreams of their prom dress, right? Something that sparkles, that is uniquely you. Well, I was lucky enough my senior year to find the dress of my dreams, at a very special boutique, Bedazzled. Located right near my high school, I would go in many days after school and fawn over the gowns they had until I was able to purchase one of my own. The Bedazzled team made me feel special, and was there with me through every alteration, shoe selection, and detail.
Lucky for me, my relationship with the boutique did not end after prom season. It only flourished from there. As I grew, so did my style and taste. Bedazzled was again, with me every step of the way. Through a shopping trip to start my college career, packed with cozy loungewear, to my first interview outfit that made me feel confident (and yes, did help me land the internship...at least in my mind.) I am so thrilled to be able to share these outfits with you, that were able to travel with me to my journey to California which made them all the more exciting.
Bedazzled Boutique, is a stylish women's boutique, that is locally owned and operated by Ruth and Victor Krass, who are winners of the Best New Boutique in 2007 and Best Clothing on the Mainline from 2008 through 2014.
They select each piece themselves in order to create a luxurious experience for each unique woman who walks through their door. They carry many designers that you might not have ever heard of, but will instantly fall in love with, as well as many recognizable brands that we all know and are obsessed with. Because they are family owned and operated, they have a deep commitment to supporting local business, something that I share with them which made it such a joy to be able to take some of their pieces with me to Los Angeles.
The style you see here is from Bedazzled Boutique. Find their information towards the end of the post and a link to their online shop.
Dress: Lola & Sophie - Cold Shoulder Dress
Boots: Frye Samantha Hiker
Choker: Anne Koplik Choker Necklace
This outfit was perfect for my trip to California. I wore it to the Getty Museum, and then out to dinner and it effortlessly took me from the beauty from the museum to a night on the town. It was edgy, which usually isn't my style but that's what I loved about Bedazzled, they always make me think outside of the box. The boots were my favorite pair of combat boots I have ever worn. They were comfortable and sturdy which was needed for all of the hills and still looked cute enough to be able to pair with this cute little dress. The choker brought in the color I was itching to share, and it did so beautifully with just enough style that I had many people come up and ask me where I had found it. What was your favorite part of this outfit?
