Transition Pieces for Thanksgiving
Transitioning from a summer to fall wardrobe is always a process. Changing from sundresses to sweaters, flip-flops to boots and everything in between can take awhile. But, I wasn't ready to let go of my summer pieces just yet.
I decided to bring in my favorite summer jumper from Topshop and make it a chic Thanksgiving outfit that is perfect for a fall day, and some amazing food. I layered it with a short-sleeved sweater and my favorite jean jacket that I thrifted at Buffalo Exchange in NYC (it had never been worn--tags still on!) which kept me warm but comfortable. I added my new Free people clogs for some height and brought along my trusty Sam Edelman yellow crossbody that I used all summer. Put all together, I'm really pleased with how it all came out and will definitely be putting on more of these transitioning piece experienments.
