Hi there.

Welcome to That's Baum. This blog is meant to be a place for exploration, fashion, and whatever else life throws our way.

Happy to have you here.

Witchy Woman

Witchy Woman

Every heard the song Witchy Woman by Eagles? It’s one of my favorites. Its sultry, magnetic, and always puts me in the Halloween spirit. The inspiration for the title and lyrics came from a number of women, although Henley, and band member, had one particular woman in mind - Zelda Fitzgerald whose biography he was reading while writing the song. I am a fan of both Fitzgerald and Eagles so it makes sense why its a favorite.

I always try my best to live local because I believe if you support your community, it comes back to you. My town has a farmers market every Saturday and I go to pick up my usual list, plus I like to pick some surprises to keep it interesting (this week was mango salsa.) Its a great way to engage with my community and it definitely put me in a fall fest mood.

Halloween costumes have been phased out as I’ve gotten older but I try to keep the spirit alive. My outfit combines my love for music and living local. I paired my black overalls with a bell sleeve top, a pair of comfy mules, Lisi Lerch earrings and my new favorite hat from Posh Collections in Malvern that I think really signifies my “Witchy Woman” look.

Happy Halloween everyone!
