What’s in my Candle Cabinet?

I know I am not the only one who loves candles - but finding the right ones can be tricky (especially when they have a hefty price tag!)

I am guilty of stockpiling candles (I call it my candle cabinet) and it is a self care staple for me. I like to pick one “nice” candle to burn during the week when I work from home that just gives me a bit of a luxurious vibe that adds to my creativity. It is also nice to have a different scent after work that let’s me reset and wind down for the evening.

Many of these candles are based in Charleston (I will indicate that), and are all ones that I have bought, tried and love!

What is your favorite candle? Any I should try out next?

  • Rewined - Sauvignon Blanc (local)

With notes of passion fruit, gooseberry, green herbs it is the perfect pair for your favorite glass of wine!

  • Nest - Himalayan Salt and Rosewater

My favorite candle to burn when I just need a reset. It’s sweet, it’s relaxing and I have rebought it many times.

  • Candlefish - No. 83 (local)

One of their bestsellers, No. 83 has notes of bergamot, jasmine, amber. It is an absolute staple in my candle cabinet!

  • Jo Malone - Lime Basil & Mandarin

Straight forward with their scent - this is a fresh and bright scent. I love burning this on Mondays when I need a pep in my step.

  • Charleston Candle Co - Southern Magnolia (local)

A tried and true favorite for me, especially in the springtime and summer. It is a complex scent with not only magnolia flower notes but honeydew, apple, peach that come together perfectly.

  • Nest - Mediterranean Fig

Fruity and woody this is a great scent that can go from daytime to evening. A repurchase always!

  • Uncommon James - Sweet Palo Santo (local)

Not known for their candles, mainly jewelry this one surprised me! I found it at their local Charleston store and the tonka bean and dark musk gives a sweet and earthy smell that I love during the evening.

  • Voluspa -Santal Vanille Luxe

My tried and true vanilla scent! It is not too sweet, gives the classic luxury burn with a hint of sandalwood which is why I think it stands out.

  • Diptyque - Baies (Berries)

Fruity and floral this is a great scent for the daytime. It is a steep price tag but it is one I love to burn on special occasions (or when I want to feel fancy on my couch on a Friday night as I eat frozen pizza haha).

  • Rewined - Gin Fizz (local)

ReWined is known for their wine scents but their new line of cocktail candles are just as yummy! I love the crisp cucumber scent that is perfectly paired with its namesake.
